National Intelligence University Seminar: OSINT Past and Future

OSINT Foundation Director of Operations Dr. Jardines recently spoke at the National Intelligence University in a classified seminar and offered three critical lessons to be learned from the OSINT discipline’s history. The lessons learned are entitled, Focus on the Public Good, Bias Towards the Operational, and Requisite Complexity Required. LTG Laura Potter, U.S. Army G-2 was the seminar keynote speaker, however her remarks are not included in this document.  To maximize transparency, Dr. Jardines’ remarks were submitted for pre-publication review and the redactions therein are those of the U.S. Government.
