OSINT Foundation Launches Practitioner Committee

Today, the OSINT Foundation launched the Practitioner Committee, which is tasked with delineating fundamental concepts of the open-source intelligence discipline. The OSINT Foundation, which began operations on August 1, is the professional association for Intelligence Community OSINT practitioners. Members on the committee represent a cross-section of both government and industry OSINT experts and include:
- David Reese – Chair
- Colin Collins
- Eliot Jardines
- Leslie Mitchell
- Robert Wilkinson
Additional members are awaiting final guidance from management and will be announced soon.
Barbara Alexander, the OSINT Foundation President, stated, “We are very happy to announce the launch of our Practitioner Committee, which brings some of the IC’s most experienced OSINT experts together to identify and promulgate foundational principles for the discipline. Combined, our Practitioner Committee members have over 85 years of experience doing OSINT.
